The vibrant and developing region of South East Asia is an integral part of Jebsens’ business. Since 1983, the shipping expertise of Jebsens has been present in this region offering shipping services for various dry bulk customers. The primary commodities being shipped include concentrates, fertilizers, minerals and grain cargoes, to name a few.

In the last two decades, we have provided our shipping partners with the brand of service that only Jebsens can provide. The use of Port Captains in both loading and discharging ports has expedited numerous shipping operations across the region. In this area, we have been involved in a variety of trades spanning 12 countries including domestic shipping services in countries like the Philippines, Indonesia and Australia. The existence of four offices in SE Asia situated in Singapore, Philippines, Australia and Japan keeps us abreast with our customers and their various trades.

Jebsens maintain a fleet of modern, self-sustaining, geared bulkers in the area. It ranges from 7000 dwt to 30,000 dwt with trading areas focused mainly in South East Asia but also including India and Japan.
