Dating back to 1965, the Jebsen Group’s strategic alliance with Store Norske Spitzbergen Kulkompani AS (SNSK) illustrates our role as a total transport solutions provider.

Store Norske Grubesskap AS (SNSG) currently produces 2-2.5m tonnes per annum of energy-rich, environment-friendly and highly sought after coal. However, it is the remote location of its Svea Nord facility that creates the most important set of challenges in terms of maximising deliveries to different markets within the annual five month ice free window.

Assuming full operating responsibility for port logistics including tugs and ice breakers, shipment scheduling to suit the client’s production and performance in handy through to panamax tonnage, we bring together the benefits of the Groups extensive experience in bulk transport, shipboard expertise, technical management, hands-on tonnage and scheduling control to offer our client a total logistical package, ensuring reliable, competitive and efficient transportation.
